Plastic Dishes

I’ve been growing my Melamine collection for about 5 years now, grabbing key pieces here and there.  They are so light and usually soft and worn in.  I have a groovy serving platter, butter dish, cream & sugar set and as of recently I added cups + saucers and little cereal bowls to the list.  These bowls are my current obsession.  I have fun eating out of them, and they are essentially weightless which makes couch-grubbin feel a lot more comfortable.  You dig it?

I got them while in Madison, Georgia at the sweetest little vintage shop.  I swear, this place would get torn apart on the East Coast.  So many treasures and at such low prices.  I wish I’d had an 18 wheeler to load up and adorn an entire home (with a huge porch, obviously).

This mint vintage blender is one thing that pained me to leave behind, so I took a picture instead.  It’s in near perfect working condition and was priced at $275.00  … I am still wishing it was mine.

I also had my eye on this vase for Joe -

and, some other cute details from downtown Madison. It was such an adorably quaint town, located 1.5 hours outside of downtown Atlanta.
