this is easy and could be used for anything tomato sauce-y. lasagna, baked ziti, with noodles, whatever. it’s pretty good for you and has minimal ingredients. i sweat out one onion in butter before adding the rest. i just throw it all together and let it simmer anywhere between 45 and 2 hours. substitute wine for vodka and add some cream and it might be vodka sauce, or something like it. you can also add whatever else you want, meatballs, prosciutto, peppers, sausage, on and on.
also, great served with fresh grated parm.
