So, I was sitting around one day, probably watching Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban again, when I realized I would eventually need a way to support myself. As a twenty-something female who never quite outgrew her love affair with fantasy, fiction, and great stories of all kinds, majoring in English seemed a natural fit, but after that? Eeek!. Then one day, while feeling the brunt of my predicament (no job prospects, a baby on the way, and a stack of overdue library books), I had an epiphany…I needed to be a Children’s librarian. It was the only way to merge all the things I was passionate about and had any talent for. So here I am, a wife, a mother, and a constant thrift store remodeler, telling you about awesome books and why you should pick them up, for yourself or for a kid in your life.
